After the passing of the legendary Bhai Dilbagh Singh Ji, it seemed for a while that the last of the soaring voices of the house of Bhai Mardana had been silenced for ever. We are indeed fortunate that his younger Brother, Bhai Devinder Singh, an outstanding vocalist in his own right, has attempted to fill Bhai DIlbagh Singh's shoes. The Jatha lives on to the delight of all lovers of Gurmat Sangeet. Bhai Devinder Singh has established a partnership with his older Brother Gulbagh Singh and with their brother Iqbal SIngh on tabla, the new Jatha carries forward the legacy of Bhai Dilbagh Singh Ji.

The recordings presented here were made at the Milford Gurdwara Sahib in the Boston area during the Jatha's visit in November 2008.
