This is the first set of recordings from the collection that S. Nachhatar Singh Sahota Ji, son of the late, illustrious Gyani Gurdip Singh Ji, so generously contributed to the Gurmat Sangeet Project.

We do not have any access to any biographic information on Bhai Gurbachan Singh Gareeb; any information that the Sangat can provide will be much apprwciated. His Kirtan of course, speaks for itself.

The kirtan was recorded live, in the huzuri of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib at the Richmond Hill Gurdwara in New York in the early 1980s
